Welcome back to another banter episode with Fieny and Steph.
We first start by honoring the life of Breonna Taylor who passed away in Louisville, Kentucky on March 13th 2020 due to police brutality. We will continue to be part of the movement to seek justice for the families affected by police brutality. #BlackLivesMatter #SayTheirNames
We discuss pop culture and the hot topic of the week- the exposure of the monarchy. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex's much-anticipated interview with Oprah Winfrey aired last week monday and the world was shook and so were we.
The couple spoke to Oprah about racism, mental health, the media and other members of the Royal Family. We share our thoughts and feelings on the interview with you, it's a lot.
Finally on a lighter note, we discuss the upcoming holiday, St. Patrick's Day, it is definitely going to be a fun day here in Nova Scotia and we hope to catch up with you on thursday. Please continue to celebrate the women around you this month and every other month and continue to let them know how important they are to you. Speak up for things that aren't right and don't let anyone silence you!
