Born in the Congo and living in Halifax, Nova Scotia, brother duo Rajab Ally and Gallyna are Advocates of Truth, a multilingual duo; mixing the languages French, English, and Swahili in their songs to interact with audiences from around the world. Effortlessly they emerge HIP HOP, Dancehall, Afro-pop, and R&B vibes, creating an Afro-Fusion genre.
In this episode we discuss their lifestyle and their music and what inspires their creative process. Their musical influences range from artist such as Sean Paul (Jamaica ), Khaligraph (Kenya), Lokua Kanza (Congo) and French-Canadian, Artist Corneille. We are also joined by a close friend- 'Gelila' who shares her experience working with them and knowing them.
